French Drains
Perforated pipe in gravel-wrapped filter fabric, set below grade and sloped to daylight. The workhorse solution for standing water, wet lawns, and foundation seepage across Cleveland's clay-heavy soils.
Drainage is our forte. Staying dry is yours.
French drains, catch basins, yard grading, and full drainage systems designed and installed across Cleveland's Eastside. We diagnose the source, engineer the fix, and install it to outlast the problem.

Drainage isn't glamorous — but it's the reason your foundation stays dry, your lawn stays usable, and your landscape investment doesn't wash away. Get it wrong and water finds the path of least resistance: your basement, your footings, your slope. Get it right and it disappears underground and you forget it's there.
We've been solving drainage problems across the Eastside since 1998. Cleveland's clay soils and freeze-thaw cycles demand systems sized and installed correctly from the start. We diagnose before we design, and we design before we dig.
Four stages. No guesswork. The sequence every lasting drainage system follows, whether it's a single French drain run or a full-property water management plan.
We walk the property, read the grade, and trace where water enters and pools. Clay soil, downspout discharge, neighbor runoff, low spots — we find the source before we touch a shovel. The diagnosis drives everything.
Every drainage problem is different. We size the pipe, map the run, calculate the outlet, and select the right system — French drain, catch basin, regrading, or a combination — before a single hole is dug.
We trench to depth, set the correct slope, wrap the aggregate and pipe in filter fabric, and tie the outlet to a stable daylight point or basin. No shortcuts. Water goes where we tell it to go.
Clean topsoil backfill, reseeded or resodded disturbed areas, and a final grade check. You get a dry yard — and you get it looking like the work was never there.

Surface inlets that capture runoff at low spots and channel it through solid pipe to a clean outlet. Paired with pop-up emitters that open under flow and seal when dry — keeping pests and debris out.
Reshaping the terrain so water moves away from the house by default. We regrade settled areas, build gentle swales, and correct negative slope before it becomes a foundation or basement problem.
Stabilizing slopes with drainage systems, strategic planting, and grading to stop soil loss. We address the water first, then lock the grade in so the fix holds through every Ohio winter.
Tell us what's happening — standing water, wet basement, eroding slope. We'll walk the property, diagnose the problem, and send back a proposal you can actually read.
