Native Plant Gardens
Sustainable, low-maintenance plantings built from species adapted to Northeast Ohio. Support local pollinators and soil biology while cutting water, fertilizer, and ongoing maintenance.
Plant Installation
Native perennials, specimen trees, and structured beds designed and installed across Cleveland's Eastside. Plants chosen for your soil, your light, and the way the seasons turn here. Set in properly the first time so they root deeper every year.

A garden isn't a one-time install — it's a system that either deepens every season or fights you for attention. The difference comes down to species selected for the actual site, soil prepared the way each plant needs it, and a layout that anticipates what the bed should look like in five years, not just on planting day.
We've been planting across Cleveland's Eastside since 1998. Same rhythm every job: read the site, plan the palette, prep the soil, plant clean, set the establishment up properly. No shortcuts at the root ball. No catalogue palettes pasted onto a property they don't fit.
Four stages. No surprises. The sequence every planting that lives past its first season actually follows.
We walk the property and read what the soil, sun, slope, and existing canopy will support. From there we draft a plant plan tuned to your site — species, sizes, spacing, and bloom sequence — instead of pulling a generic palette off a shelf.
Most plant failures start below grade. We amend compacted soil, correct drainage, define clean bed edges, and build the planting medium each species actually needs to root in. The work nobody sees, that decides whether the garden takes.
Trees set with the root flare exposed. Shrubs spaced for mature size, not the pot they came in. Perennials laid out in drifts before a single hole is dug. We plant for what the bed should look like in three years, not three weeks.
A breathable mulch layer (never volcano-mulched against the trunk), a deep first watering, and clear establishment guidance for the first season. We hand over a planting set up to deepen and improve every year.

Garden beds that unfold across the season — paired perennials with complementary textures, heights, and bloom times so something is always coming into its own from spring through first frost.
The backbone of the landscape. We specify and plant trees and shrubs chosen for mature size, form, and seasonal character — the long-term structure your property grows into over the next decade.
Editing tired, overgrown, or mismatched plantings. We remove what isn't working, transplant what is, and introduce new material that brings the beds back to life in a way that fits how you live now.
Tell us the site, the conditions, and the look you're after. We'll walk the property, draft a plant plan, and send back a proposal you can actually read.
